Burger King has opened Austria’s first entirely vegan restaurant in Vienna.

It’s easy to order the Impossible Whopper vegan—just ask for no mayonnaise! The patty used in the Impossible Whopper is the “Impossible Burger 2.0” made by Impossible Foods—and it’s completely vegan. The buns at Burger King are also vegan! The other Whopper toppings include tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, pickles, and onion, which are all vegan.
Along with a toasty bun, lots of vegan mayo, raw onion, etc you can do a lot to disguise the taste of a broiled beanburger! I’m just kidding, the plant-based, meatless burgers they are making now are so like real hamburgers it’s hard to tell it’s a plant-based patty.
If it looks plant-based, if it smells plant-based, it must be plant-based!
For Vegans that miss their ground beef burgers (like me) in a previous life, taste and texture of a vegan restaurant’s vegan food offerings will be the determining factor in the success or failure of vegan restaurants, fast food vegan or full service vegan. Are there enough of us to sustain our favorite vegan restaurants? After all, if you were to create some of those recipes at home, the ones that catch your eye provided by the top vegan bloggers. It would cost you an arm and a leg for the ingredients. Why not just go out and enjoy what vegans are all talking about. So, please patronize your nearest vegan restaurant and if in doubt, just Google it! vegan restaurants near me
