Just Say Yes to Vegan

Plant-based food is the healthy alternative

Even Nancy R. would just say yes to adopting a plant-based, whole-foods diet. There is now unimpeachable, scientific proof by many doctors and scientists that the nutrients found in plants have the ability to reverse heart disease, stop type 2 diabetes in it’s tracks, lower blood pressure, switch off cancer and help with weight loss.

Now just who in their right mind wouldn’t want to avoid all the bad stuff associated with meat and dairy and make the switch to a plant-based diet? If you could get the benefits of a plant-based, whole foods diet in a pill you would pay any price.

Me Want Vegan Food

Are you going to let a little thing like taste get in the way of a healthy lifestyle? Ok so it’s not just a little thing, it’s a BIG thing! That was my biggest fear when I starting a plant-based diet, how in the world could I give up meat, dairy and eggs, the things that have sustained me over the years and the stuff that just tastes so darn good? Was I just going to fail again, quit after I lost a few pounds, go back to bad eating habits and gain even more? This time there was a lot more at stake than just me losing weight. The planet and the animals needed my attention!

What has meat and dairy done for me Lately?

I stayed strong in my new convictions like never before. Plant-based eating is good for the earth, good for the animals and I soon overcame all the negative thoughts I had of boredom, tastelessness and fear of ridicule if I did this. I was convinced I was doing the right thing and that made all the difference. It didn’t take more than a few days to ease my way into it, I promise you and after just one month you won’t go back. Remember, nothing tastes better than good health feels.

The way I like to think of it is to ask myself this question: just what has meat, dairy and eggs and sugar done for me after all these years of BBQ’s, picnics and baseball games other than clog my arteries and make me fat? It’s nothing more than fleeting instant gratification and it’s time to Just Say Yes to a better way, the vegan way.

So commit yourself, maintain a positive attitude and jump in.. You will find after just a few days of eating plant-based, whole-foods meals your tastes will adjust and you will start to actually enjoy those vegetables instead of just choking them down with a piece of meat because you heard they were good for you.
